A feast of flowers @ Pont Street

After being invited back to Pont Street for the feast of flowers menu inspired by none other than the Royal Chelsea flower show, I couldn’t help but say yes to some fine cocktails and enticing canapés.

Joining me that evening were a number of other foodie (and hungry) bloggers and we all got the chance to mingle with the chef and creative mind behind this pretty spring menu, Sophie Michell.

Cocktails that were tried and tested –

·         Home infused lavender gin with maraschino liquor

·         Rose and lychee martini (my pick of the night)

Nicely presented selection of the Canapés –

·         Wild garlic pesto, goats curd and hazelnuts on carta de musica

·         Crab, samphire and elderflower hollandaise

·         Rosewater raita and saffron chicken poppadum’s

·         Watermelon gazpacho

After everything was demolished ever so quickly, I got the chance to do what I love to do best – chit chat and socialise around a sea of flowers. Sadly this menu was only limited for the one week however don’t let that stop you from popping in for a visit to this ultra stylish establishment. Theres plenty more where that came from!

We came, we loved and we will be back again for more.
